Although I can't write much tonight since I am frantically packing for tomorrow's drive, I had to quickly mention how much we enjoyed tonight's movie, Nanny McPhee. |
Two thumbs up from the Di Silvestri family!
A place of retreat for this mother of seven (currently fighting Stage IV Metastatic Breast Cancer) to speak on the joys and challenges of life for a Catholic family immersed in American culture.

Suz,
We also enjoyed the movie. We read the book prior to seeing the movie which made it more interesting. The kids had fun pointing out the differences between the book and the movie.
Have a wonderful and safe trip to see Jen.
This was so weird because we actually picked Nanny as our Friday night movie as well. It was very entertaining and of course made the kids glad they had a MOM!
The biggest difference that we noted between the book and the movie was the fact that there was a mom in the book. I don't know why they chose not to have the mom for the movie. Therefore, the focus of the book was the behavior of the 20 some odd children, not the love life of the dad. It was fun read.
