Savannah Day 1

It's our annual girls getaway weekend!  I suppose at some point we are going to have to stop using the word "girls", but let's not talk about that now.

At any rate, Jennifer, Lori and I are having a great time so far in lovely, historic Savannah, Georgia. Here are some pictures of our first day's adventures...

Mass and Stations of the  Cross at St. John the Baptist Cathedral

This photo doesn't do justice to the amazing interior.

Me with a statue of Juliette Gordon Low, the founder of the Girl Scouts
at her family home and birthplace

All three of us in her garden

On the river walk...yes it was very cold here today, but at least it finished raining last night!

Tomorrow we will be visiting the Pirate's House (circa 1754), Forest Gump's bus stop bench, Forsyth Park, City Market and Paula Deen's Lady and Son's restaurant for dinner.  Fun, fun, fun!
