Something Fly Lady Forgot to Mention

It is my observation that sticky rice and noodles are far, far easier to clean off a high chair (not to mention a tile floor) when they have had a few hours to dry out. When dry, they simply sweep up. Not so when they are gluey wet.

Knowing this, do you think I always rush to clean them right up so my kitchen shines each night before bed? Sometimes.

Sometimes not.

Sorry, Fly Lady. I still love you!

As long as your sink is shiny, you're good. She doesn't say that the high chair has to be shining!

Another good reason to have a dog. You'll have a built in food vacuum. I think Kyanne cleaned up beautifully after Tony while she was there. I'm not taking sides on this debate because as you know having a dog is another responsibility that you might not need at this particular time.

A side note: thanks for your blog. I really enjoy reading about what is going on with you. And you write so beautifully it makes it an easy and uplifting read.

Another note: I can't think of any night that my sink has been clean before going to bed and yet I sleep just like a baby.

Five people I would live to converse with:
(In their prime)

St. Teresa of Avila
Fidel Castro
Mary Magdalene
Mario Puzo
Robert Duvall
Teddy Roosevelt.

Not necessarily in that order.

I love Flylady too!

(and you are so right about rice and pasta...it's my way of "rebelling" against flylady when I refuse to sweep that evening and wait until morning instead) **wickedly grinning**
