Bella-isms

This morning, right after she climbed out of her buckle while I was driving...

Bella: Are you mad, mom?

Me: Yes!

Bella: Is it a huge mad? Let me see your face.

And not an hour later as I am singing Sunday's Gospel Acclamation in the kitchen...

Bella: This is not church.

Good thing she's cute. That's all I'm saying.

Vibiana is also driving me nuts with wiggling out of her car seat buckles. She knows how mad I get, so today, as I started to turn around to check on her, she suddenly starts yelling, "No Mom, don't look, don't look!"
Adorable, aren't they?

LOL, can doctors bottle all of that excess energy and loan the rest of us some? Happy belated birthday, Bella! -AO

awww...Bella and Michael should talk and compare stories. Last year, Michael undid his buckle because I got him a drink at a drive-thru. After i got the drink I told him to stay in his seat and I would give it to him shortly. He refused and said he was quite hungry. So as I am in the middle of traffic trying to pull a U-turn so that I can pull over and get into a parking lot, a motorcycle cop was behind me. Needless to say my yelling didn't impress him much nor did the officer when he pulled us over. The cop tried to buckle him in and Michael wouldn't budge for him. It took every ounce of self-control I had not to go back there and "smack" some sense into him. I didn't know what to make of his, "you've got your hands full" comment but I surely appreciated that he decided not to give me a ticket. Praise be to God for that one!

Also--we still struggle with buckles every now and then, but are much better! Justin time for Frankie to get it started up again.
