I'm Scary After All

When the neurosurgeon changed my wound dressings this morning, I found 11 jagged metal staples in my head. Honestly? It's not my best look. But I feel oddly tough and confident I could hold my own in a bar brawl, so at least that's one less thing to worry about.

I am just sitting, feeling pretty good, waiting for transport to take me to the car. I can't wait to see my kids!!!

Oh Suzanne! What a thrill to know that you will be able to hug your babies after such a long, hard battle. And I am very happy that you have some sort of something to show for that brain surgery :)
Love you. Be well.

Yay and you are FUNNY!!! Oh Suzanne, bless your heart for having a sense of humor and the best attitude possible throughout this all! You are in my thoughts and prayers each and everyday.
I'm sure that you know a rough pregnancy has stopped me from flying over to see you, but please know that I love you and am thinking about you and AM SO PROUD of you!!!!
Congratulations on seeing your kids very soon!!! Love to you and your beautiful family!!

Love, hugs and XOXO

I was thinking and parying for you today! I even sang a little tune for you!! I'm glad you are headed home to hug your precious babies and be in the comfort of "your house" rather than a hospital. Praying for a speedy recovery, and good sense of humor through this time.

Miss you and hope to see you soon!!!

suze, you are such an inspiration to all of us who have so little to complain about. Thank God for the research scientists, oncologists, surgeons. family docs, nurses, technologists (x-ray of course) who have the passion and have given a portion of their life to help those who are sicken by cancer. Their reward is being there for patients like you who need their help and compassion. I pray for Gods guidance in their search for your recovery. Love Jay and the children every chance you get. If there is too much company, it is okay to tell them you need just family time for now. They will understand and give you space to have quiet family time. You are always in my prayers daily and last pray at night. Love Mary B

Ok now I'm a stalker!!! Just thinking about you and wondering if you are in a "good spot" so to speak. I'm getting a good vibe? Lucas mastered his fear today, and prayed for you out loud at mass. He flubbed up a bit, but said it with such earnestness that I cried.
