In the Beginning...

...when God created the heavens and the earth, the earth was a formless void...

Sort of like this page is for a first time blogger like me.

This could be great. I could read back over this first entry years from now and, like God, see that it was good.

Or, more likely, I will re-read this at some point in the future and be mortified that I felt compelled to share details of my ordinary life with people I've never met. Be that as it may, for some reason I wish to begin this journey. So begin it I shall.

I am a Catholic wife and mother of 5 children, ages 7 and under. I have been inspired by the writings of other Catholic mothers, particularly Kimberly Hahn and Danielle Bean, who have encouraged and strengthened me in my vocation. So, I have decided to add my voice, for what it is worth, to the those who are trying daily to do what I am hoping to do: raise saints.

Some days bring me closer to my goal than others, but in every day I hope to find and follow God's will. So, bear with me as I muddle through this thing called Christian parenting and hopefully learn a thing or two along the way.
